Embracing a city’s love for art, the 2nd Street Lofts located in Decatur, Indiana will house artists and entrepreneurs alike. The project will be partially financed through IHCDA’s tax credit program and offer 16 unique apartments with preference to entrepreneurial artists.
The first batch of homes to launch the homeownership program in 2011, proved to be a major success. In 2019 we are on pace to complete an additional 98 homes, surpassing our wildest expectations. We have been able to expand the program to Columbia City.
The Van Buren Flats is an intentional neighboring concept, connecting generations. This is a concept that neighbors seniors with younger households to encourage interaction and involvement.
